The mission of The River Orchard is to provide a unique, stunning, and unforgettable wedding and event experience, and to promote locally sourced, sustainably farmed, and organic cuisine all while showcasing the natural beauty and gorgeous backdrop of Humboldt County.
The Chef Owner
Natalia Boyce was born and raised in Humboldt County, California. She has cooked professionally for over 12 years, specializing in pop-up restaurant style events and private event catering. She is focused on serving local and seasonal cuisine to her community and beyond.
Her close relationships with farmers, wine, cider and beer makers, as well as other local purveyors in Northern California, allow her to create a one-of-a-kind pairing experience for each of her events.
Fred and Amy met in 2013 in Humboldt county and have been farming together since! Based in the Eel river valley, Luna Farm sits nestled between the Humboldt Redwoods State Park and the main stem of the Eel River, on a verdant flood plain. They supply Humboldt County with organic + dry farmed fruits and vegetables nearly all year round.
Together they grow a diverse amount of crops including seasonal fruits such as apples, pears, figs, & melons; summer crops such as: heirloom tomatoes, corn, squash, cucumbers, peppers, and cut flowers; and of course PNW winter staples including: brassicas, onions, carrots, beets and culinary herbs.
